An even money bet. You win on a
natural 7 or 11 or lose on "craps" 2, 3, or 12 on the "come
out roll". Any
other number that rolls (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) becomes the "Shooter's"
point. The
"Shooter" must throw the point again before a 7 for the PASS LINE bets to win.
DON'T
PASS LINE
Reverse of the pass line. You
lose on a natural 7 or 11 on the "come out roll". You win on 2, 3 (should a 12 come
up - it's a standoff, nobody wins). You lose after the roll if the "Shooter"
makes
his/her point - win if he/she throws a 7 before making his/her point.
COME
BETS
Make any time after the 1st roll when the
shooter has a point to make. You win on a natural 7 or 11 - lose on 2, 3 or 12.
Any number that comes up is the "come point." You win if the
"come point" is made before a 7 is thrown and lose if a 7 is thrown
before the "come point" is thrown.
DON'T COME
BETS
You lose on natural 7 or 11 - win on craps 2,
3. Stand-off or push on 12. Here you lose if the "come point" is made
before a 7 is thrown and win if a 7 is thrown before the "come point".
ODDS
Once a point is made on the "come out roll" or a come
point on a succeeding roll you may make a odds bet and win if the point or come
points are made before a 7. PAYOFF: 2 to 1 if the point is 4 or 10, 3 to 2 if
the point is 5 or 9 and 6 to 5 if the point is 6 or 8. Don't Pass and Don't Come
you may lay the odds and they pay just the opposite of Pass Line and Come odds.
(Example: if the point is 4 or 10 you would lay 2 to win 1.) The Pioneer Casino
offers 10 times odds. This means you may take up to 10 times what ever your pass
line bet is. (Example: if your pass line bet is $3 you may make a $30 odds bet
and if your come bet is $3 you may make a $30 odds bet.)
PLACE BETS
Once a point is made on the "come out roll", you may
make a place bet on any or all the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If the shooter
throws any number that you have made a place bet before throwing a 7 you win.
PAYOFF: 9 to 5 for a place bet on 4 or 10, 7 to 5 for a place bet on 5 or 9 and
7 to 6 for a place bet on 6 or 8. A BUY BET is a place bet that pays the same
payoff as an odds bet, but you pay a 5% vig. or juice to get those payoffs. A
place bet may be taken off any time before a roll.
FIELD BETS
A one roll bet. You win even money if any of these numbers roll
3, 4, 9, 10, 11 - you win 2 to 1 if a 2 rolls and you win 3 to 1 if a 12 rolls.
You lose if a 5, 6, 7, or 8 rolls.
BIG 6 OR 8
A self serve bet that pays even money if you bet on the 6 or 8
and it rolls before a 7. You lose when a 7 rolls.
PROPOSITION BETS
These bets are all set up by the dealers. You may make any of
these bets at any time before the dice are rolled. Simple toss your bet to the dealer with
the stick and tell him/her which of the "Proposition Bets" you want to
bet and how much you want to bet. The red numbers are one roll bets, "Any
Craps" (2, 3 or 12) pays 8 for 1, "Any Seven" pays 5 for 1,
"Eleven" (11) pays 16 for 1, and "Two" or "Twelve" (2
or 12) pay 31 for 1. The circles with "C" and
"E" are "Any Craps" and "Eleven". The yellow
numbers or "Hard Ways" are multiple roll bets. Payoff: 4 or 10 pays 8
for 1 and 6 or 8 pays 10 for 1. You win if the number is rolled the "hard
way" (both dice roll the same number) and you lose if a 7 is thrown or if
the number is rolled the easy way. Example: a hard 8, if the dice roll two 4's
you win. If the dice roll 6-2, 5-3 or any 7 you lose.
The "shooter" is the
player that is rolling the dice. Every player at the table will be given the
opportunity to be the "shooter" in turn moving clockwise around the
table. Any player may pass the dice to the next player if they do not want to be
the "shooter". The "shooter" will roll the dice until he/she
rolls a point on the come out or first roll and then does not make that point
buy rolling a 7 (sevens out). At that point, after all the losing bets are
picked up and the winning bets paid, then the dice will be offered to the next
player.
