River Rick’s Video Poker Tournament was held April 11-13, 2008. What a great tournament that was. There were many Pioneer “regulars” involved, as well as several new people that took part in all the excitement. Players were involved in 3 rounds of tournament play to compete for a 1st place prize of $7,000!
In 3rd Place, from Redlands, CA with a final score of 5,030 points, winning $1,800 was Bonnie Hales. Bonnie stayed persistent her last two rounds to pull off this spot. Looks like Bonnie started out this spring with some green! Nice job!
In 2nd Place, from Surprise, AZ with a final score of 5,065 points, winning $3,500 was Mark Crook. Mark has participated in several tournaments at the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall. It just goes to show that practice goes a long way. Way to go Mark!
And for 1st Place, from Cottonwood, AZ with a final score of 5,145 points, winning the top prize of $7,000 was Jerry Palmer. Jerry has been coming to the Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall for years. His loyalty sure paid off with this tournament. Great scoring!
